Be happy and stay happy.

“We tend to forget that happiness doesn't come as a result of getting something we don't have, but rather of recognizing and appreciating what we do have.”

Peace and Joy

"Acceptance brings peace."

I ponder on this message.

I've been through a rough sail for the last months and finally, I too believe that I have to accept the cards life has dealt me this time.

And yes, acceptance does bring peace. It pushes me, not only to move on, but also to re-direct my energies to something worthwhile, creative and helpful and to do it to well.

Peace to you, then joy . . .

Creating Happiness

"Being happy is something you have to learn. I often surprise myself by saying "Wow, this is it. I guess I'm happy. I got a home I love. A career that I love. I'm even feeling more and more at peace with myself." If there's something else to happiness, let me know. I'm ambitious for that, too."
Harrison Ford

"Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself: I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it."
Groucho Marx

"If you want to be happy, set a goal that commands your thoughts, liberates your energy, and inspires your hopes."
Andrew Carnegie

Giving Thanks Instead

Today, instead of being sad or sorry for myself, I give thanks to God.

I have so much in life to be thankful for, so many blessings that I have not acknowledged.

Thanks to a big God, a God bigger than any of my concerns in this life. Praise His Holy Name.

Photo is the floor tiles in the Church of Multiplication, in commemoration to the miracle performed by Jesus, the multiplication of the fishes and the loaves to feed the 5,000. Thankful I was able to be in this place.

L - O - V - E

LOVE, is it really such a big word?

L - O - V - E

I guess it manifests differently for each of us. Then again, you find most of the connected things and feelings being the same with everyone else.

Not to forget, we are never alone.

Rejoice then for having learned the word. Not the end of the world . . . or of the word "Love".

Happy Hearts' Day to all!
