Be happy and stay happy.

“We tend to forget that happiness doesn't come as a result of getting something we don't have, but rather of recognizing and appreciating what we do have.”

Doing . . . Winning . . . Succeeding

Some of the things I've been reading today . . .

Four steps to achievement :
1. Plan purposefully
2. Prepare prayerfully
3. Proceed positively
4. Pursue persistently

A winner is just a dreamer who never gave up.

There is no short cut to success. It’s always toiling and striving and sweating it out and fighting the voice that rings in our head “Give up Francis, this is not getting you anywhere…” It’s refusing to give up when it seems like the effort is futile. Same thing in business, same thing in career and it’s certainly the same thing in the Christian life.

Basketball legend Michael Jordan says: "I've missed over 9,000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times I've been trusted to take the game-winning shot . . . and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed."

Oliver Cromwell says it very well: “Not only strike while the iron is hot, but make it hot by striking.”

Different Kind of Joy

Am featuring a different hang-out today. It is a well-visited retreat house, run and maintained by sisters. It is known as " Sacro Costato Formation House, located at No. 50 Mother Ignacia street near the Amoranto Sports Stadium at Quezon City.

During our evangelization, we celebrated our Convivence here. Our group of 25 people stayed for the 3 days and 2 nights.

Meals were great and healthy, lots of (but not limited to) vegetables, fish and fruits.

You may want to consider the place, specially now during the Lenten season and what with the Holy Week coming up.

Anything But Happy

"There comes a time in life when you walk away from all the drama and from the people who caused it. Surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad, and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right, and pray for those who don't. Life is too short for you to be anything but happy. Falling down is a part of life; getting back up is Living."

Simple Happiness

It's vacation time from school.

Cooked some cheese sticks for snack. My eldest son craved for mango cream pie and Italian spaghetti on the side. My youngest son, on the other hand is crazy over stuffed-crust meat-lovers pizza (delivery).

Me, I just love having my kids here at home and that's happiness.
